TRS offers a variety of resources to educate our members about their TRS benefits, including Benefit Presentations. These sessions provide valuable information for all members, regardless of their retirement plans. In addition to in-person events, we also conduct monthly virtual sessions.
Our group presentations provide a comprehensive overview of TRS benefits, focusing primarily on key topics such as:

- Benefit calculations
- Retirement plans
- Death benefits
- Post-retirement employment
- Health insurance
Before submitting a request for a presentation, please review our retirement sessions page. We highly encourage members to attend a pre-planned session. If your requested event overlaps with an existing session listed on the retirement sessions schedule, or if a virtual session is available, we may not be able to fulfill your request.
To be considered, requests must be submitted at least 90 days in advance. Each organization is limited to one request per fiscal year. For in-person presentations, the number of attendees and travel time will be considered. Virtual presentations are recommended, especially for small groups or when travel time exceeds three hours, as they offer flexibility, cost savings, and accessibility, ensuring that more members can benefit from the information shared.
