Retiring Soon

Whether you were enrolled in TRS-ActiveCare or not, eligible K-12 public education retirees can enroll in TRS-Care. TRS-Care is the group health benefit program for eligible retirees and their eligible dependents. Based on your age when you retire, your options may differ.

There are four plans within TRS-Care:

  • TRS-Care Standard for non-Medicare retirees
  • TRS-Care Medicare for Medicare-eligible retirees
  • TRS-Care Dental
  • TRS-Care Vision

These are benefits you’ve worked for your entire career! Make TRS-Care the care you can count on during this next chapter of your life.

If you’re retiring before you’re Medicare eligible (age 65 and up), you may be eligible for TRS-Care Standard.
