New TRS Website Coming Soon
In mid-April, TRS will launch a fresh, interactive website to better serve our members. While the web address, trs.texas.gov, will remain the same, new features will include enhanced navigation, a streamlined homepage, advanced search capabilities, a searchable event calendar, robust learning resources, functionality to submit digital documents, and mobile friendliness so you can access all features from any device.

Beware of TRS Imposters
Have you received a knock on your door or an email from someone asking to discuss your TRS benefits? Know TRS representatives do not initiate meetings with members or retirees – whether at home or online – to discuss your benefits. Read more on what to watch out for.

Beware of Suspicious QR Codes
QR phishing, or "quishing," uses malicious QR codes to trick users into revealing sensitive information. Scanned with smartphones, these codes direct victims to fake websites mimicking legitimate ones. Cybercriminals distribute them in high-traffic areas or emails. To protect yourself, verify the source before scanning, check for HTTPS encryption, use trusted QR scanner apps, and stay vigilant. Always double-check before scanning!
