With your TRS-ActiveCare and TRS-Care Standard coverage, you have Personal Health Guides (PHGs) to advocate for and help you at no extra cost. Think of them as health plan experts and personal assistants who are available 24/7 to help you understand, use, and manage your coverage.

- Reach out with questions like, “Am I covered for that medication?” and “How much is my copay for this specialist appointment?”

- PHGs are specifically trained in mental health benefits, so they can help you choose the best provider or facility for your needs. They can also connect you with a Behavioral Health Case Manager or crisis support resources if needed. Be sure to mention mental or behavioral health as the reason for your call.
