Additional compensation may come in the form of longevity pay or a one-time lump sum payment. Being part of a retirement system means most employees are eligible to contribute into the plan, and also have the option to contribute to 401(k) and 457 plans.

TRS Wellness Committee

The TRS Health and Wellness Program goes beyond insurance and leave. We provide opportunities for our employees to improve their total health through physical fitness and wellness education. ​Fun lunch and learn sessions with health and wellness pros are an easy way to unwind and be encouraged. When life gets tough, we have an employee assistance program to provide confidential support.
