View Secure, Encrypted TRS Emails
Secure TRS email will display the following message. To read the email, first click on the attachment at the bottom of the message:
Click on the “Click to read message” button:
If it's the first time you have received an encrypted email from TRS, a form will open for you to register.You will also receive an email with a validation code for completing the registration form. Here is a sample of the Proofpoint Encryption Registratione mail:
You can copy the code provided in the registration email and paste it in the registration form in the next step.
On the registration form, fill in the first name, last name, password, confirm password, and enter the validation code. Please review the following password rules:
- Passwords must be 7-20 characters long
- At least one digit (0-9) is required
- At least one symbol character is required
- Your username may not appear in the password
Upon completing registration, the secure email is available to view:
Resetting Password
Click on the “Forgot Password” link:
A Password Reset Request confirmation message will be displayed, stating that a password reset message was sent to your email:
An email with a link to reset your password will be sent:
After clicking on the link in the email, you will be directed to enter a new password. Please review the following password rules:
- Passwords must be 7-20 characters long
- At least one digit (0-9) is required
- At least one symbol character is required
- Your username may not appear in the password
- After entering a new password and confirming it, you will be directed to the contents of the encrypted email.
Responding to TRS Secure Emails
Responding only within the secure email system will ensure any information sent to TRS, including attachments, is encrypted. To respond, click “Reply” or “Reply All.”
A separate window will open to allow a response:
After completing your email and/or attaching any documents, click “Send” to send the email securely to TRS. You will receive a confirmation message stating the message has been sent:
