Conduent Business Services, LLC (“Conduent”) is a third-party service vendor that offers back-office support to companies such as Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, the current health plan administrator for TRS-ActiveCare and TRS-Care Standard, and Humana, a past health plan administrator.
Conduent experienced a cyber incident earlier this year and is providing notification via postal mail to current and former members of these plans affected by the incident. Conduent’s letter provides information on the incident, including actions they took to secure their system, as well as details on free identity monitoring they are offering as a precaution to impacted individuals. If you receive a letter, please read it carefully and ensure you enroll in the free identity monitoring if you choose to do so before the indicated expiration date.
