Celebrate the Past, Present and Future with TRS
As you've heard, TRS is expected to fully move later in 2025 to its new headquarters in the Mueller Community in Austin, where you will receive the same important services you receive today. To help mark this milestone, TRS is excited to announce the installation of a time capsule at TRS' Member Center.
The capsule will celebrate the history, contributions and achievements of Texas public educators and TRS. It will be a symbol of the past, present and future, encapsulating the essence of TRS history.
Upon sealing the capsule later this year, it will be reopened in 30 years, symbolizing a career's worth of service credits that members apply for retirement. This is a unique opportunity to be a part of TRS history.

Donate an Artifact
Do you have an artifact to propose? Submit it for a chance to be preserved in the time capsule. Share your unique items – tell us about your artifact and why it represents 2025 by completing the Artifacts Form. TRS will contact you to provide instructions on sending in your artifact.

Educational Photos: Capture the spirit of the classroom with images like “Classroom in Time.”
Unique School Yearbook: Showcase the memories and milestones of a memorable year.
Textbook: Share a textbook that reflects the current educational trends.
Technology Device/Gadget: Submit a gadget that defines the tech of 2025.
Educational Tools: Highlight tools used in education.
Fashion/Music Trends: Show off the latest styles and sounds that are trending.
Classroom Culture: Provide items that represent the unique culture of your classroom.
Note: Artifacts donated to TRS shall become the permanent property of TRS. TRS shall have the unrestricted right to use and dispose of the donation as it may see fit.
