Earlier this year, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas (BCBSTX) and CommonSpirit Health were in contract negotiations, which resulted in CommonSpirit leaving the BCBSTX network on Dec. 16, 2020. After further negotiations, BCBSTX and CommonSpirit reached an agreement, and CommonSpirit hospitals rejoined the BCBSTX networks.
This agreement is retroactive and has been reinstated with no lapse in network coverage. If you receive an out-of-network bill from CommonSpirit for services after Dec. 16, 2020, call a BCBSTX Personal Health Guide at 1-866-355-5999.
The chart below lists all in-network CommonSpirit facilities for TRS-ActiveCare and TRS-Care Standard plans.
