Would you like to lose weight? Get fit? Improve your cholesterol? A wellness coach can help with that – and many other things. And the best part? It won’t cost you a dime.
What is a wellness coach?
Your TRS health plan includes wellness coaching. That means you can work with one of these credentialed health experts to help you set and reach your wellness goals at no cost.
Wellness coaches include:
- nutritionists
- dietitians
- nurses
- personal trainers
- mental health specialists
- and more
After learning about your lifestyle and habits, wellness coaches create a personalized plan that works for you. Your coach keeps you motivated with ongoing support and inspiration along the way.

How does it work?
Here's what to expect when working with a wellness coach:
- Take a Health Assessment. This is the first step for any wellness coaching program. You'll answer a few questions about your health and lifestyle to help identify areas to improve your health. Then, you'll get recommendations for individual programs.
- Meet with your coach. Once you're registered for wellness coaching, you can exchange secure messages with your coach through the Well onTarget® Member Wellness Portal or the AlwaysOn® App. You can also speak to your coach on the phone.
- Create an action plan. Your coach will work with you to understand your needs. Then they'll create a plan that fits your lifestyle and help you set achievable goals.
- Track your progress. Follow along in the portal or app. You can also connect your fitness devices and nutrition apps to track your progress.
Rack up points. You can earn Blue PointsSM for participating in wellness activities like going to the gym and connecting your fitness device. Then you can redeem your points for gift cards!
What programs are offered?
