You don’t have to wait until after you visit with your medical provider to find out your cost. Using the tool, you can find out pricing before filling your prescription.

The tool can also tell you if there’s a lower cost alternative. Brand name medications are often more expensive. If you’re currently taking a brand-name drug, talk with your doctor to find out if there’s a generic alternative that may work for your treatment.
