Welcome!
We are pleased you have decided to participate in TRS’ social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn and Instagram. TRS’ social media presence offers an additional way for our members, retirees and others to stay updated on TRS information and participate in a productive dialogue that can benefit participants and the agency alike.
TRS created our social media presence for the limited purpose of generally discussing TRS’ pension plan, health benefit programs and TRS’ administration and operations. This presence is not an open public forum; however, to encourage engagement, TRS and participant posts on retirement, TRS’ mission and other content at the discretion of TRS will be allowed. TRS may answer general member questions; however, these forums are not intended for discussion of individual member or annuitant-specific information.
For information related to your account, please call to speak to a counselor toll free at 800-223-8778 or email us by logging in to MyTRS, the online access portion of the TRS website. After establishing a user ID and password of your own choosing, members can plan for retirement, keep track of their personal accounts and receive communications from TRS online. You may also direct questions in writing to the Teacher Retirement System of Texas, P.O. Box 149676
Austin, Texas 78714-0815. Other helpful TRS contacts are on the TRS website.
TRS asks that you carefully review our participant guidelines.
